Labeled on the SoundCloud as dreamwave, I think 'Last Night I Heard Everything in Slow Motion', the latest number from Oliver Tank, pretty much lives up to that title. A harmonious synth kicks things off, subtly detailed by lazy clicks and layered noises. A modest space is constructed in your imagination. Hammers fall and stones chip. The vocals are backed by some really wonderful notes that hit just the right spot, shimmering under a layer of subdued autotune. Before this, I would have said that Bon Iver's use of autotune was my favourite of recent years, but after hearing Oliver Tank, I think I might have changed my mind!
