As the title suggests, there is a smattering of teenage angst here, mooting with melancholic nostalgia the flawless image of a seventeen year old girl. Wailing guitars and emotional drums back lead vocals that stun. Breaking into whispers, they compliment beautifully the restrained nature of the lyricism, the instrumentation revealing in all its passionate scope and classic execution Being There's true feelings. For a song that runs for just two and a half minutes I have to admit I was captivated from the off. Brilliantly constructed and composed, stream the wonderfully unassuming '17' below, then just let the sound smother you in satisfaction!
