This track is by far the most textured I've heard for a while. Under the clicks and taps and sampled sighs that add a nightmare-ish factor to the music, dust crackles and a record whirs. A surreal melody loses itself in the myriad of noise on 'Last Night' and I'm fascinated by it, as I am many things. The vocals are on edge, nervous and at times blissful in their expectancy. All in all, everything about it is somewhat mesmerising, and I eagerly suggest giving it a run-through. Deft's also got a blog, so head over and follow that if you so wish.
