If you want to contact us, then feel free. We're always open to requests, album wise. If you have a physical release you'd like to send over, just email and we'll pass on our address. If you've got the EP or album streaming however (on either the SoundCloud or Bandcamp) then that's fine too. Just go ahead and sent us the link. We'll review anything you'll throw at us, bearing in mind that this is an independent music blog. Mainstream or well-known artists aren't really our preference. We'll drop by some every so often, but you can find a whole load of reviews for those records all over the internet. We prefer sharing with you things you've never heard before, be that an album, EP or even a track or two. As a final point, we're very welcome to any promotion you might want to put our way!

We're always looking for writers here at Music Dissection! If you're interested in writing for the site then contact the above email address with the following information:
1. Your name, age, and general location.
2. Your favorite genre(s).
3. An example of your writing! Should be focused on music and incorporate elements of both creative and analytical response! Length is irrelevant.
Ideally anyone applying for a job as a contributing writer should:
1. read blogs on a regular basis and keep up to date with new music!
2. be able to utilize correct grammar and spelling, as well as engage the reader when writing.
3. be able to post at least every other day during the week (Monday-Sunday).
4. be reliable, friendly, and excited for new music!
5. Write and analyse designated music as well as your own finds! Bear in mind this is an independent music blog and therefore mainstream artists are, as a flexible rule, not covered very often!
We look forward to hearing from you soon! Please be aware that Music Dissection is not a profit-making site, so earning money is unfortunately not an option. However, you may get the chance to get into a few live performances for free and even interview artists from across the world! As far as work experience goes contributing to a music blog is good experience for anyone wanting to work in music journalism!
You may have noticed we also use a lot of images at Music Dissection. A position as a photographer is also available, so we look forward to hearing from you! Just email some examples of your photos over!
